Looking for Wisdom?

Some times when I read scripture I feel like God is chuckling knowing there is going to be a part that just grabs me and gives me a quick jab to the stomach.  Here's what it is today:

⁷ The law of the LORD is perfect,
   refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy,
   making wise the simple.
⁸ The precepts of the LORD are right,
   giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the LORD are radiant,
   giving light to the eyes.
⁹ The fear of the LORD is pure,
   enduring forever.
The decrees of the LORD are firm,
   and all of them are righteous.

Look how much is packed into these 3 verses.  Do you believe God's Word is perfect, trustworthy, right, radiant, pure and firm?"  Do you really believe it refreshes your soul, gives wisdom, sheds light into your life?

Why are we always looking somewhere else for wisdom?

Why are some many bibles collecting dust?

Do we love scripture like that?
